@A MyLupusTeam Member Is it the entire thigh or just above the knee? It could be Lymphedema. I've had it for years. The lymphatic systemic stops draining correctly and fluid starts pooling.
Sometimes it got bad and they had to do wraps but I do massage on my thighs and compression stockings on my lowers legs. Keep them up when you can and they have pneumatic hose if you have insurance that help a lot. But, if it is that, you need to learn the correct way to massage the fluid, there is an order.
Usually after I’ve been up all day on my feet too much, I do get edema above my knees, the left not as often as the right. Always a sign I need to get off my feet .

Thanks- that sounds more serious than my swelling - I hope it resolves
or you can find out what it is.
@A MyLupusTeam Member I have knee issues and what feels like maybe cysts on the outer/lateral part of my left knee. It's painful to pressure. My rt knee feels like it pops in and out of socket and my leg almost goes out from under me when walking or standing and turning. My Rheumatologist recommended I get X-rays. My insurance isn't great and idk there's much to do about it right now anyway. If it gets bad enough I'll have to do something though.
