Lipstick is our friend, tats are not a friend of Lupies. I would not try it, not worth the risk🦋

Historically autoimmune diseases and tattoos or piercings don't go well together.
I don't have any tats but I have gotten a few piercings and they always get infected and/or just pull through the skin no matter how I care for them or what precautions are taken pre-piercing.

A friend of mine who has lupus got a tat done and because of one of the meds she was on, her body essentially absorbed the ink and the majority of the design disappeared. Sounds insane but it's a true story.

I'd avoid any needless procedures, Hanna, given the flare risk for us warriors with procedures of any kind.😘
