I use Johnson’s baby shampoo because my shin is very dry now and itches. I do have medicine for it. I believe that my dermatologist would recommend a shampoo for me for hair loss. So far I’ve been blessed with thick hair. I have lost quit a bit of hair though. I will look up Johnson’s baby shampoo to see if it causes hair loss. I should never assume anything. However, hopefully that was taken under great consideration for babies and children. Thank you for the question Mrs V

My advice on shampoos would be look for an organic shampoo without harsh chemicals. There are good hair masks for dry scalps that actually repair thinning hair at the same time. Some contain natural oils that not only condition the hair and scalp. Other help with hair growth. Hormones do play a big role in hair loss as well as the medications. I was on prednisone everyday last year and in November of 2023 I lost so much hair but now it’s thick. I research beauty products I have all of my life so I’m speaking with confidence here. You can check out shampoos that are organic free of chemicals on Amazon. Also go to Allure beauty award winning shampoo’s for whatever you are looking for. I read the ingredients and try to find less expensive ones with those ingredients. I hope this helps. There are really great products made for women of color I’d check those out.
