My stomach is so swollen. It feels like I can’t breathe at all. My legs are so big now which even 100 pounds heavier my legs have never gotten any bigger. My ankles are swollen. Everywhere is swollen and I have these lumps in my knees now. I spoke to a cousin of mine who was recently diagnosed with lupus and she said they found a blood clot in her kidney, which was causing the bloat in her stomach, so I don’t know if anybody has experience anything like that. Athena, I'm glad you're being evaluated, and it sounds like you may need a CT of your abdomen, as well as an assessment of whether heart, liver, or kidney issues may be contributing to fluid retention. Take care, and keep us posted!😘

Taking Prednisone can make you retain water, like 8 or 10 lbs worth.
Make sure you get your kidneys checked out too. They are to be checked regularly when we have Lupus

Be very careful with this. I would see my PCP. My lung doctor has me seeing a cardiologist because I have shortness of breath and I have swelling buts its in my face, and hands and arms. Make sure you follow up with your primary care.
