In the last few months, I have had random scratches on my back in different areas. My husband put hydrocortisone cream on them and they went away. Yesterday there was a patch that felt like scratches. At first my husband said it looked like dry skin then he said it was red. I asked him to take pictures. It's hard to see on my skin color but I can see it. If you have had this, what did your dermatologist call it? I plan to schedule an appointment with one soon.

Maria, I'm noticing some scratches on my back, too, and one possibility is dryness or dyshydrotic eczema (a fancy dermatologist term for dry skin)! I'd try dry skin creams such as Eucerin and over-the-counter hydrocortisone on top of that twice daily and see if it helps.๐Ÿ˜˜

Thanks much @A MyLupusTeam Member. I have a big jar of Aquaphor. Do you think that will do?The hydrocortisone seems to be working a little.
