My bladder is still bad and I'm sure I still have retention. I have to go to the restroom all the time.
Hello @A MyLupusTeam Member
I don’t have edema.
I have joint pain mainly in anckles and knees. During my first flare I had edema yes, but not now.
You seem to have good doctors.
I can not advise you for lasix unfortunately.
How is your bladder going? Still retention?
Hello @A MyLupusTeam Member, thank you gor all your advice. I was wondering if you also have edema? I have a edema in my hands and my feet with no known cause. My cardiologist prescribed lasix a few months ago, but I never took it as medications always scared me. I have no heart issues that have ever been discovered. However, I still see a cardiologist, because I have chest pains from time to time. A cardiologist monitors my heart.
GI doctor monitors my liver. Pulmonologist monitors my lungs. Neurologist monitors my headaches. Urologist monitors my bladder. Urogynecologist monitors my fibroid.
Do you think it's okay for me to take lasix just for 1 day to get rid of some excess fluid and bloating?
Hello @A MyLupusTeam Member
I just saw your post and replied to it. I also do not have Kidney disease.
If I have an advice to give, do not force when you urinate because there will be a risk of organs descent when you get older.
Also do not hesitate to get a second opinion from another urologist if you have any doubt. I lost 2 years and just seek for a new one that I met last monday, I leave in South of France and had to go to one of the best specialist in Paris Hospital and even if it was expensive it worths it.
Take care of you and if you have any question feel Free to ask
I am going to look up neurological bladder. I'm currently dealing with urinary retention. No kidney disease. Just urinary retention. I'm not allowed to get bladder botox til it clears up. The urologist says my constipation might be the cause of my urinary retention.
