My adrenals are in bad shape and tests show they are nearly flat, which is actually a big concern as it can be fatal. I often pass out because of it ...and believe me, I have tried soo many pills and supplements but it only made it worse because my body reacts to nearly everything! I haven't been diagnosed with Addisons, just severe adrenals insufficiency and the only thing that helps me is resting and NOT pushing myself beyond my limits. There are many nights I go to bed, wondering if I'll die in my sleep and never wake up again because I feel so bad. And yeah, I've been to many doctors but they Can't help me! Someday I'll be completely healed in heaven ,oh glorious day!

While the search results don't specifically address people with both SLE and Addison's disease, it's important to understand that lupus can affect multiple organs and systems in the body. The immune system's attack on healthy tissues can impact various glands and organs, including the adrenal glands.

Many MyLupusTeam members manage multiple conditions alongside their lupus diagnosis. When dealing with multiple conditions, it's crucial to work closely with your healthcare team to coordinate treatments and monitor how medications may interact with each other. Since you're recently diagnosed with adrenal insufficiency, make sure to keep detailed notes about any new symptoms or changes you experience. This information will help your healthcare providers adjust your treatment plan as needed. Remember that managing multiple conditions can feel overwhelming at first, but with proper medical support and monitoring, many people successfully manage both conditions.

AnnWason, I am in middle of testing and a likely diagnosis of secondary adrenal insufficiency (on top of lupus sle and all the other ones I've been given). I'm so sorry that you are also experiencing this. I want you to have HOPE tho! While we never want any diagnosis, it is a good thing (at least partially) when we receive an accurate one because it means that we can get the problem addressed and hopefully get to feeling better. ❤️ I'll be praying for you as I'm working through my adrenal issues. 🙏🏼
