Breathing difficulties with lupus can be caused by several lupus-related conditions affecting the lungs. About half of all people with lupus develop lung-related problems, including:

- Pleurisy (inflammation of the tissue covering your lungs)
- Pleural effusion (fluid buildup around the lungs)
- Pneumonitis (swelling of lung tissue) This is a serious symptom that requires medical attention. If you're experiencing shortness of breath along with other symptoms like chest pain, coughing, or fever, you should contact your doctor right away. They can properly evaluate your symptoms and adjust your treatment plan accordingly.

Sometimes breathing difficulties can also be related to anxiety, which affects many people with lupus. If anxiety is contributing to your breathing problems, your doctor can help determine the best approach to managing both conditions.

Mine comes and goes. But it's harder to walk at the same time. I notice that I been getting tired more often too. It can last for days then its stops. Thanks for responding to my question.
