I use a cpap every night. I definitely sleep better with it. But it does dry my nose up some on one side of the inside my nostril even know I have a humidifier on my machine. It hurts. But the benefits outway the feeling. I do though use nasal pillows! I can't stand the mask. Feels to constructing.
Thatโs good. ๐
Surgical procedures are generally recommended for those with more severe OSA that hasn't responded to CPAP, or who absolutely can't tolerate it. I would caution that surgical procedures can cause us to flare, @A MyLupusTeam Member. For some people, an oral appliance somewhat like a nightguard works, too. That may be something to explore with your sleep doctor.

CPAP machine didnโt help me at all. I felt very confined by it. I gave up after trying different machines. Years later I found out about the Inspire. I had to lose weight to qualify for it. December 2023 I had the procedure done. It works great for me. I donโt snore anymore and my sleep has improved significantly.
I finally got the Inspire. My insurance paid for it! I love it!!!!
