I stay fully up to date on all vaccinations. I have not had flu in years and have never had Covid. I am 80, have asthma, PsA, lupus, fibromyalgia and assorted other conditions. I can't risk getting anything serious like flu or covid. Vaccinations are a personal choice, I realize. I am just sharing my reasons for favoring them. I also have 3 great grandchildren whom I would not go near if not fully up to date on vaccinations.
I believe you follow your history, I look to natural immunity, I'm not against vaccines, but if your body is doing the work, let it. I went through covid, I worked in a retail environment, didn't get sick. Work made me get a vax, I got sick, it was 10 days mandatory, lucky I had a ton of sick time?!?! Oh, then they changed it to 5 days, ha. Listen to your doctor's advice but go with how you feel and your past history. I mean if they can have false positives and negatives in testing decisions, hello.
Yes, I'm fully vaccinated my immune system is crap even vaccinated I've had COVID 4 times and flu A&B twice and hospitalized each time it was bad but I feel if I wasn't vaccinated it would have been worse and I wouldn't be here. I followed my rheu. Dr advice and I'm glad but I agree you should look on how your immune system does on previous years for me I've had a weak immune system since I was very little so I therefore get vaccinated
Yes I stay up to date on all vaccinations. I recently needed stitches and was happy to be current with Tdap vax!
