Usually, with pseudo-obstruction, there's also a lot of bloating, Elsie. You may want to revisit your doctor for another evaluation. Were your labs and urine checked? I hope you get answers and relief soon.๐Ÿ˜˜

Has anyone experienced severe pain on their flank area..could it be Intestinal Pseudo obstruction as I read that is seen in lupus patients. It is very painful. Doctor originally thought that it was constipated stools, but it went away and now the pain is back.

Hello Niranjana,
Thanks again for your response. I made an appointment to see. GI doctor; which I meet with on the 20th. And the pain is more dull, not sharp or shooting . Always thanks for your input

You may want to see a GI doctor, given all the bloating. Usually, with nerve pain such as from spinal problems, the pain tends to be intermittent. That is a possibility, too, but nerve pain is often sharp and shooting. Hope that helps.

Hello and thanks for your answer. Yes lots of bloating and discomfort. Yes they did urine, but not labs. Because I have severe Spondylosis lumbar she thinks that it may be the nerves..I can't wrap my head around that. Thank you so much
