Yes I've gone from 200 lb to 122 lb. And I wasn't trying to lose weight
either. So would we still be alive if we didn't have all that weight on us.
That's scary just thinking about it
I would like to add, that for the majority of my life, I have always been thin. A size 4.
9 years ago I met my current husband and started eating a lot of Mexican food and then I started to gain a lot of weight. I went from a size 4 to a 6 and then up to a size 18. It was a process of about 2 years.
Then I was diagnosed positive for ANA. I was still heavy until this past year. I'm not super thin like I was before. But the weight seems to be falling off so to speak.
It's been a interesting roller-coaster ride for the past few years.
Just wanted to clarify that
Linda, I'm sure your doctor checked your thyroid function and blood sugar levels, along with basic levels to look for possible causes. Lupus flares can also cause weight loss, though this amount would probably be unusual. I hope your tests turn out fine, and I'm sending my prayers, too.
Please keep us posted!😘
Linda, I will be praying for you.
My appetite is really good, no issues with that. The only workout I get is working 4 days a week for Amazon in the pack department. Doctor is aware and concerned that it might be cancer. She has me getting CT exams to make sure nothing is developing.
Has anyone started gaining weight after lupus. I don’t think it is the plaquenil, maybe inflamation.
