Members urged someone experiencing severe dizziness and nausea after starting a new blood pressure medication to contact their doctor immediately rather than waiting for a scheduled follow-up, with the consensus being that these symptoms are not something to endure and likely indicate the medication needs adjustment or replacement. Several members emphasized the importance of writing down all symptoms before speaking with the doctor to ensure nothing is forgotten during the conversation. A recurring theme was the validation that feeling this unwell is not normal or acceptable, and that quick communication with the medical team is essential to finding a treatment that works without causing debilitating side effects.

I agree with the others--talk with your doctor right away, Teresa, as it doesn't make sense to keep taking something that's making you sick.
