Members rallied around someone experiencing severe dizziness, weakness, numbness, and nausea while managing multiple autoimmune conditions, offering compassionate support while strongly urging an ER visit despite their understandable medical mistrust from past experiences. Several members shared practical strategies that have helped them cope with similar symptoms, including staying hydrated with electrolyte tablets like Nuun, taking ginger supplements for nausea, juicing leafy greens, and resting without guilt when the body demands it. A recurring theme was the frustration of being dismissed by doctors who focus on appearance rather than invisible suffering, the exhausting work of self-advocacy through researching symptoms and family history, and the importance of finding research hospitals or specialists willing to listen and investigate complex overlapping conditions.

I finally went to a research hospital. I had copies of former records, a long list of symptoms, and I also had a long list of tests I wanted done because family history noted a host of other autoimmune symptoms that were never thoroughly ruled out. Definitely drink fluids with electrolytes. I like sugar free Nuun tablets. I get dizzy easily and often don't hydrate it distracted. That is usually when I get dizzy, nauseous, and have abdominal cramping.

@A MyLupusTeam Member thanks for answering/caring, I know I have to see a Doctor but I have been gaslit and faced too much malpractice/abuse from them. I'm hesitant, I don't trust ER doctors😞
