Thank you I’m the same way about Kleenex, but I don’t have one with me. I am dead in the water.
It’s not like I have to blow it. I just have to keep the drips at bay!!

A constantly runny nose with clear liquid can definitely be connected to both SLE and Sjögren's syndrome. While nosebleeds are not a super common lupus symptom, nasal issues in general are more common than you might think.

Here's how your conditions may be contributing:

- SLE and inflammation — Lupus can cause inflammation in the upper respiratory system, including the nasal passages, which can lead to nasal symptoms like congestion or a runny nose
- Sjögren's syndrome — This condition, which commonly occurs alongside lupus, affects moisture-producing glands and can cause dryness and irritation in the nasal passages, which may trigger a runny nose as the body tries to compensate One small study found that nearly 32% of people with SLE reported nasal congestion, suggesting nasal symptoms are more common in the lupus community than many realize.

It's worth mentioning this to your doctor, especially if it's persistent or getting worse. They can help figure out whether it's lupus activity, Sjögren's, or something else driving it — and suggest the best way to manage it.
