I was wondering has anyone else been diagnosed with peripheral neuropathy which was caused by Lupus? My feet bother me when I walk and they feel like their on fire. I was wondering what I could do about it? The doctors have me on 900mg of gabapentine and it only helps so much!

Most times we end up doing more research than our Drs sad to say but make the internet your best friend. Research it then present the research to the applicable Dr. Never be afraid to ask or present a possible solution to ur Dr.

I have Peripheral Neuropathy, Autonomic Dysfunction and Automatic Neuropathy. I Iseriously believe I have the Peripheral Neuropathy Lupus and now FINALLY have a Neuro Dr appt with a 2nd Neuro Dr that is willing to explore this. I'm praying for answers finally after trying to figure this out since 2009.
Find a Neuro Dr that specializes in autoimmune as well. Make an appt and push for answers. Make your health number 1 :-)

I will do that. I have just been through two surgeries within two months for polyps in my uterous. One obgyn couldn't find the reason for my bleeding she sent me to an oncologist who found the polyps. I am wondering if this was caused by lupus.

Yes!! Both feet hurt all the time! Can't stand for very long unless I'm walking which is not as bad then. They are numb, tingle, and have cramping/pain! When I first stand up I have to wait a few seconds or so before I walk! Not fun at all! Hope you find something that works for you. ๐Ÿ˜Š
