I am really glad that a few of us like you have good doctors that listen not just with their pocket books or ears but with their hearts, too.

My first doctor was horrible he said he was only doing this job to keep busy after retirement from the navy. He had me on 60mg of [[treatment:prednisone:540f50e[[phone:08608753462000065]] 3:]] times daily I turned into myself times 2 from swelling an weight gain. He also didn't believe in lupus as a true problem. I'm never afraid to change doctos if they arnt truly trying to help.

Right now I take plaquenil an just restated Imuran yesterday .
I have been a really difficult case I don't react to prednisone like most do so if I go on its only for a week or two at a time because I get weird face swelling. I have also been on 5 other medications for lupus but they all have either caused allergic reactions an sent me to the ER or the side effects build up an were causing more harm then good.
