Is there such a thing as a lupus diet to follow? Am willing to try anything. My rheumatoid arthritis is flaring up and pain us excruciating.
Definitely check out the book Beverlyy recommended. I changed my diet completely because I could not control my inflammation and I was afraid i was going to end up in a wheelchair. I started eliminating stuff like sugar, and dairy(except for eggs). That helped, and I added in Omega oil supplements. I found out I am also gluten intolerant, so I am now also Gluten Free. I eat fresh fruit, veggies, poultry, and fish, and nuts, and gluten free bread and tortillas. We are all different, but I think this has really helped.

This book is written by a doctor who put her immune disease in remission for a long time. Aside from a diet, she does in great depth about what exactly is happening in your body. I'm about halfway through it and I love it. @A MyLupusTeam Member @A MyLupusTeam Member
