I'm asking this because I was the type of person who would not care about what I ate, and I would eat fast food almost everyday. I just didn't eat healthy. This lead to me developing lupus nephritis back in 2014

Nephritis is an inflammation of the kidney. In lupus, it can be caused by two things. The first is when immune complexes left over as a result of autoimmune activity clog the glomeruli (little filters in the kidneys) and cause inflammation. The second is when autoantibodies attack kidney tissue directly. Lupus nephritis is caused by autoimmune activity not fast food. Although a healthy diet helps overall health, there is no cause and effect relationship with lupus nephritis.

I stay away from sugar, processed foods, and alcoholic beverages. I've also gone gluten free. I factor time for resting/ napping in my day. Avoid sun.

Less stress, more planning. Your mind says I can I can I can but I still have to tell myself wait only plan this much otherwise a few days down the road I'm hit with a day down. I eat better I make sure to sleep better and am excercising (some) when I wasn't before

Diet is very important. Limit fast food and fat from your diet. Unfortunately having lupus nephritis you cannot or should not have tomato sauces and steaks, limit your protein. It's the worst. Even a diabetic diet is better than a lupus nephritis diet. You are young, you must try to keep on track with this. All the best to you.
