I went and saw a nutritionist & dietitian. They ordered a bunch of bloodwork and it showed a lot. I was low in vita D & iron, which I am always but low in testosterone, magnesium, potassium and more. I never realized it. So now am on a regiment of supplements.

@A MyLupusTeam Member You ask great questions.
Like @A MyLupusTeam Member my sugar levels have been affected leading to neuropathy. Hope to reverse it with right foods and regular “movement”. I like that word better than exercise for now.
I highly recommend yoga, swimming and the Qigong video Uprooted posted. I'm going to do this video daily. Important that it incorporates breathing and relaxing with taking the muscles through good range of motion. We guard against so much pain that I think learning to rest the muscles will help.
I am really deconditioned from this long war and need to lose 70 lbs. I don’t make energy properly and fibromyalgia/neuro pain doesn’t help.
Chair yoga can be challenging some days. I too was getting the spasms. Maybe get your magnesium levels checked?
Thanks @A MyLupusTeam Member
Best Qigong video I’ve seen in two years of searches. Can’t wait till she makes more.

I started wearing a Fitbit because I realized that I was getting weaker, gaining weight and overall health was declining. It affected my blood sugar, blood pressure, and attitude. Just forcing myself to move a little more each day, I've made leaps and bounds in all areas. Just did a blood test and hopefully it will show some improvement. It's hard to get motivated when we wake up in pain. I just tell myself "you've got this" over and over. Little by little. Also, "I'm in control, not my lousy disease" If you need support, keep jumping on this site. I've found so many wonderful, encouraging people here!

I do yoga and love 💕 it. It is relaxing and the stretching really helps me

I do functional fitness 3 times a week also. There are s few ladies who are overweight and they manage . 1/2 hour of core, 15 minutes of weights and 15 minutes of cool down

It’s mixed up for variety but I really enjoy it. They modify for whatever you are able to do
