Can I ask for people do you have a specific diet for Lupus you follow, or foods you have removed from your diet and you have noticed a positive effect??? Thanks x

At the beginning of July I switched to a whole food plant-based diet. I have soooo much more energy than before. My foggy head has cleared up and I feel like my mood is lighter. I still have pain and inflammation but it’s tolerable. I’m looking forward to a year into this diet to see what other good things happen in my body. Hope this helps!

Eliminating red meat made a huge difference for me especially when it comes to inflammation.

Great, that is what I was thinking but I love Chicken. I got told by Pharmacist to limit my protein intake. Suppose I won't know till I try. My sons are dairy free so if they can do it, I can do it. Yes, I want to it to help with the inflammation. Thankyou.

I have been vegetarian (although eating fish) for most of my life and have always been dairy intolerant but over the last year, since being treated for lupus, I have cut out garlic, onions and mushrooms and follow the FODMAP diet which has helped with acid reflux problems.

Yes, I have dairy, Eggs, Chicken and all the nuts allergies.
I get different type reactions from everything for example, Nut I get blister and cracks inside mouth and lips.
Dairy chest and nose congestion.
Chicken and butter gets pain and crack in my eye.
Ghee( melted butter give me fever.
I am mainly eating lentils, beans, vegetables and fruits .
I can eat Chapati but no bread.
I feels lot better by doing this.
I have done my allergies test from natural path.
I would recommend either quit or reduce the amount of dairy.
I am pretty sure it will make different fir inflammation.
I would also recommend allergy testing.
Take care guys, I hope every day one day there will be cure for it.

Stay positive and laugh when you can.
