My reason for asking is because I am afraid of stopping my Benlysta infusion for two reasons. If I need to go back on will my insurance approve and i have lost so much weight and can’t afford to lose more. Thanks your info helped
I have looked into Dr. Brooke Goldner but not read her book. Before I'd heard about her I switched to a vegan diet working towards a whole food plant based diet. I still do some sugar, some oil, and my smoothies aren't nearly as big, but I've had great results. My labs went to normal, I'm not on any meds and I only occasionally have symptoms. I have slight flares with the weather, or too much sun, or my periods, or an illness but even those have become very minimal. Not so much of a flare but more of a reminder with a little joint pain to fatigue. I was inspired by Ella Mills story of Deliciously Ella and eating mostly whole plant foods has been enough for me without being mostly raw or eating a pound of kale a day.
I have heard of it before but haven't read it. I watched some the author /doctor's videos on YouTube. That's a good way to go to help you decide if you want the book. There's a lot of commitment to diet change involved.
I have gotten a lot of recommendations to read and evaluate
Never heard of that. I'll research it.
