Hello , i recently had this appear under my nose . It looks like a cold sore but I remember the past weekend I went into a flare usually when I’m in flare I have lupus breakouts . Which are usually in the cheek.

I was asking because I got shingles with a tiny blister around my mouth. I never had typical shingles just that one blister. The weirdest things happen with SLE.

I had my first serious skin issues relating to a flair last year. I have both SLE and discoid Lupus. I was referred to a dermatologist, who did a biopsy to confirm that the lesions I had were discoid Lupus. She was then able to determine how to treat and get it under control. It took some trial and error, but the problem was resolved. Skin problems on your face are disturbing and it made me feel much better to tackle it, knowing that it wouldn't continue to get worse. In short, a dermatologist could help you find out for certain and put your mind at ease. Hope this helps!

From what I can tell from the photo, BG, it doesn't look like a typical cold sore, which looks like a blister, as @A MyLupusTeam Member said. It may be related to your flare. I hope you feel better soon!😘
