I have lupus nephritis I'm on a low sodium and potassium diet but is there other foods I should be avoiding ?? I don't know what to eat and I'm so hungry but I can't eat like anything
My suggestion is to speak with your doctor about your diet. Each person has different needs. Ask him to refer you to a dietitian who can work with your unique issues. If that is not possible try eliminating one food at a time and see how it affects how you feel. Everyone needs s certain amount of carbs, protein and fat. You cannot eliminate everything without shocking your system. Start with you doctor. There are good articles and references from lupus foundation of America
You should avoid sugar and carbs, they contribute to the inflammation, specially in the joints
All the whites flour , sugar, etc stay away from but salmon, veggies, fruit, salads , chicken , anything that doesn't cause inflammation good luck hon πΊπΊ
Sugar and red meats cause the most inflammation in the body. Natural sugar from food like fresh fruit is okay.
Heard all whites flour, sugar , dairy anything that's causes inflammation bread, meat, sugar a biggy so guess clean eating lots of fruit , veggies , salmon, chicken , hv a cheat day we go through enough lol hope this helps lots of anti inflammatory vitamins to add turmeric, curcumin, just lots of research. or go to nutritionist that's better they can explain good luck hon ππΊππΊ remember it's all about gut sucks but true ππ
