My suggestion is to speak with your doctor about your diet. Each person has different needs. Ask him to refer you to a dietitian who can work with your unique issues. If that is not possible try eliminating one food at a time and see how it affects how you feel. Everyone needs s certain amount of carbs, protein and fat. You cannot eliminate everything without shocking your system. Start with you doctor. There are good articles and references from lupus foundation of America

You should avoid sugar and carbs, they contribute to the inflammation, specially in the joints

Sugar and red meats cause the most inflammation in the body. Natural sugar from food like fresh fruit is okay.
