Yes, happens fairly often. I believe the medical name for it is dysphagia, and it seems fairly common in people with autoimmune problems.

This happened this morning. It felt like i couldnt swallow my food. It was stuck and started to become painful. I attributed it to GERD

This has just started to happen to me and I was wondering what’s going on? I feel so suffocated, especially after eating or drinking!

Yes alot recently! When it started I about went to the ER thinking something was wrong with my heart but most the pain is on the right so I am guessing its my lungs inflammed. My throat feels that way alot too. I think that ones muscles inside out it hurts. It comes and goes. I think maybe I am getting a cold but don't.
