Try Ginger, Lachelle. You can get the sugared ginger bits, like dried fruit. Or Ginger chews or hard candy. OR, an RN told me this after a surgery, sniff rubbing alcohol, but not too deeply. But it's only a momentariy relief thing. When my Stepfather died, all my Mom could get down was saltines or Digestives, and ginger ale, she was so nauseous. You can find Digestives at WalMart in the International Foods Aisle or on Amazon dot com. They're from England, real inexpensive too. I'm sorry you get that way. I still get it every morning but mine only lasts about 10-15 minutes now. I think it's from our Rx's. 😘
You can try probiotics to support healthy digestive system. The best place I've found is Vita cost
I will come back up in a few hours with the exact number of healthy bacteria you should look for. The medication we take strips away hood bacteria from our guts.
Yes! And for me the zofran works the best and I have tried the usual things. I’m just going to give you my opinion based upon years of experience. Keep in mind the vitamin/supplement/and herbs are a trillion business. Many of these companies are trying to sell something as a cure or alternative to a medication that should not be taken or not approved by the FDA. These things can be dangerous to us that have autoimmune diseases. I had seen 2 celebrity recommended natural doctors in Beverly Hills that costs thousands of dollars they both put me on vitamins, supplements and herbs. I became very ill, lost a lot of weight rapidly, had no energy and activated a lupus flare. I went to my Rheumatologist and he looked at the herbal supplements that are highly recommended for the immune system and told me that some of these activate lupus. I no longer take any herbs or supplements other than a prenatal vitamin, calcium, vitamin D, and a B complex. According to my doctors it’s completely unnecessary.
I say all this out of caring and being a compassionate person.
Hi, Lachelle sorry I'm just now posting, but I don't get nauseous just in the mornings I'm nausea all through the day. I'm on phenergan I take it 30 minutes b4 I eat & it helps me. And I also take nexium b4 I eat, my appetite be good sometimes & sometimes it don't. Lachelle I don't know if u heard of sea moss, but I take that also. When I can't eat or don't have a appetite, I'll make me a smoothie & put the sea moss in it. U can google it, it's called Irish sea moss & it helps with the autoimmune system. So look into the things I said & I hope it helps u. Good luck b/c I know it's not a good thing being nauseous🙏
Hi Lachelle just now seeing your post. I am on BP meds also along w/ Plaquenil. I have to take twice a day.
A lot of times I can’t eat in the morning, no appetite. Most days I try to eat very light, maybe 1/2 banana or a bite of toast. Have you tried taking Zofran before going to bed, just thinking it might help with the nausea. I take Omeprazole at night seems to help me.
