Yes! I have arthritis and neuropathy in my toes and feet. The minute I lie down at night, I get excruciating pain. I found a homeopathic foot and leg pain cream for neuropathy. It provides the relief I need to get back to sleep.

Toe and foot symptoms are actually quite common with lupus. About 77 percent of people with lupus experience foot pain at some point, and it can affect any part of the foot, including the toes. Members have described various sensations like burning, feeling like they're walking on glass or rocks, and cramping in their feet.

Several things related to lupus could be causing your nighttime toe pain:

- Arthritis: About 95 percent of people with lupus experience joint pain and swelling at some point. Lupus arthritis often affects small joints in the feet and toes, causing pain, swelling, and stiffness that's typically worse in the morning after joints have been still during sleep.

- Raynaud's syndrome: This is the second most common cause of foot symptoms in people with lupus. It causes toes to feel cold, numb, or painful due to narrowed blood vessels. Severe cases can even cause ulcers on the toes.

- Circulation problems: Lupus can affect blood flow to the feet and toes, causing pain and discoloration.

Since toe pain is disrupting your sleep, it's worth discussing with your rheumatologist. They can determine what's causing it and recommend appropriate treatment options.
